MARGO CANDELARIO has pursued a successful career in art. Her work has been shown widely, from New York to Hawaii. Widowed with three children in 1996, she now writes stories for children in the hope they help others cope with the loss of a parent. inspiration is mainly drawn from her liaisons in the performing

JILLIAN PARKER’s birth as a poet coincided with the diagnosis
of her fourth child as autistic. She now spreads awareness of autism
and advocates early intervention for children with learning disabilities.
